# Sleeping positions
Here are some tips on the right sleeping positions during various stages of pregnancy.
During the first trimester, it is advisable to Sleep on Side (SOS) and avoid sleeping on the stomach. One can also lie down on the back during this period.
After five months, sleeping on the side is a must, preferably on the left side with cushion easing the back and in between legs. Sleeping on the stomach and on the back must be avoided during this stage.
