A simple scar or a pimple on your face can put you off for the entire day

You can only imagine what a woman goes through while carrying another little human inside her for a period of around 40 weeks

That time of her life doesn’t come very often

It is understandable that she goes on an emotional roller coaster during these times

The added responsibility to take care of another life and the changes her body go through that time can add an extra bit of pressure to her head.

It wasn’t on the agenda

Not every pregnancy is planned. If that’s the case or if this is your first pregnancy, your mood swings can be more than usual.

People often feel stressed during this time since it is a big change in their life that they can’t fully prepare for or control.

Unplanned pregnancy may also lead to anxiety and depression.

You should be careful and consider seeing a doctor,

If you have a history of mental health issues in the past

If you have problems regarding alcohol and drugs

If you are going through a tough time in your relationship

Do you need a Doctor Consultation?

Talking is curing

Talking to your loved one about your issues can make all the difference.

If you can’t talk to your friends and family, try talking to your doctor or therapist.

When you see your therapist, let them know your previous medical history.

It is time for you to seek immediate help,

If you feel bad about yourself for more than 2 weeks

If you are having negative thoughts consistently

If you are feeling hopeless or losing interest in your day-to-day activities

If you are experiencing panic attacks

As a mother, you can do plenty of things to keep your mental and physical health in check.

Some of those things would be to not expect too much of yourself, try not to make major life changes, and be physically active.

It is always okay to seek help if you’re struggling.

Just keep in mind that you’re not the only one going through these issues. Happy parenting.
